Dr. Alam is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McGill University and a nephrologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital. He did a research fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where he completed a Masters in Clinical Research at the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at Tufts University. Dr. Alam has published several papers related to ADPKD, with a particular focus on the management of patients after end-stage renal disease. He regularly speaks at the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week pre-course on ADPKD, was a participant at the 2014 KDIGO Controversies Conference on ADPKD and participated in the TEMPO 3:4 Study.
