Neera Dahl, MD, PhD, Hamden, Connecticut, USA

Dr. Neera Dahl is Assistant Professor of Medicine (Nephrology) at the Yale University School of Medicine. She is also Medical Director and Director of Nephrology Outpatient Clinics at Davita Dialysis in Hamden, CT.

Dr. Dahl obtained her medical degree and her doctorate from Tufts University. After completing her residency and a Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston, she was offered a position as instructor at the Harvard Medical School. She is certified in both internal medicine and nephrology. Currently, Dr. Dahl is clinical primary investigator for a Yale PKD Center pilot project, supported by the NIH, evaluating the role of macrophage-mediated fibrosis in the progression of ADPKD. She is also investigating the role of tolvaptan in the management of polycystic kidney disease and is principal investigator of a multi-center clinical trial studying patients with ADPKD.

Dr. Dahl has given numerous lectures and courses on ADPKD and PKD and is actively involved in multiple community outreach programs on CKD and PKD. She is widely published and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Kidney Disease, the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology and Kidney International.
