Presenter: Susan Huang MD


Dr. Huang is a clinician-researcher with an MD and a PhD in Medical Biophysics. She is an Assistant Professor at Western University. She completed her medical degree at the University of Ottawa and trained in the Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology Fellowship programs at Western University. Her research has attracted multiple peer-reviewed grant funding. She applies novel imaging techniques to study the pathophysiology of renal disease, complications of dialysis and thrombotic microangiopathy. She has authored over 60 manuscripts in the fields of nephrology and Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) in prominent articles/reviews in high-impact journals, including JAMA, British Medical Journal, and Kidney International.
