My recent test for random urine ACR ratio results are as following:

Albumin (urine) : 24 mg/L
Creatinine (urine) : <1.0 mmol/L

Unable to calculate Albumin/Creatinine Ratio as
the concentration of the Creatinine is less than the lower limit of the analytical range of the method.

I also see another reading in the report that says

Creatinine : 60 umol/L
eGFR : 120

What does these results mean?

I am 27 years old female and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I am 8 weeks postpartum now and my blood pressure has been normal since 2 weeks postpartum.
Hello,

it is possible that the creatinine concentration was extremely low because your urine was very dilute. I think it would be worth repeating the test on a morning sample of urine. The other creatinine test you posted is your blood creatinine level which is normal.

Thank you doctor.

I took the same tests a month back and the results were :

Albumin (urine) : 109 mg/L
Creatinine (urine) : 2.8 mmol/L
Albumin/Creatinine : 38.9 mg/mmol

By any chance, is it possible to compare these with my recent results and say if it’s gotten better or worse?
It is likely improved. To compare directly, try doing the same test on a first AM urine sample prior to eating or drinking.

Thank you for your response doctor. I hope my doctor orders the test again to be done as you said.

I will comment my results once done.

Is there such thing as a blood serum albumin/blood serum creatinine ration equation ?
Thank you
