My creatinine is 52. EGFR >90 HBA1c 64 mol/mol And ACR 1.31. I’m a 52 yr old female T1D 45 yrs+. Are these levels good, or do they indicate the start of a kidney problem?
Many Thanks
Hello,

Based on these numbers alone, you would not meet the criteria for having kidney disease. Your albumin to creatinine ratio and eGFR are in the normal range. Your A1C however is above target for diabetes and it would generally advisable to have it treated below threshold in order to reduce the risk of long-term complications including kidney disease.
