Good afternoon Dr.! My son has recurrent UTI occuring from October 2018, April 2019, May2019. We've done Gram stain culture & sensitivity test which came negative, but he was diagnosed with proteinuria based on his lab test results from april 2019 up to this date June 2019. His doctor cannot determine the exact cause of this problem and only advised us to take ACE inhibitors for a month and observe.
I am worried sick that he might have kidney problem or something else. His urine is always frothy. He doesn't have diabetes or hypertension. Please advise us. Thanks.
Hello,

How old is your son? What was the level of proteinuria they found. Has he been investigated for reflux?
