Hi! Jordan

I have a young donor 35 years, work up for kidney donation revealed unilateral persistence of fetal lobulation of kidney, DTPA renogram revealed good function of both kidneys, he passed all other tests including 24 hr urine protein ---any specific concerns related to donation ??

best regards

Hello,

If fetal lobulation is the only abnormality and GFR, proteinuria, blood pressure and cortical echotexture were otherwise normal, I would not exclude on the basis of that finding alone.
