Hello,

I made some routine urine and blood tests.

The results were:

Microalbuminuria Test
Albumin-to-creatinine ratio 0.9 mg/g
Creatinine in blood 1.45 mg/dl.

Do these results indicate that I have a chronic kidney disease?

Thank you,
Rui Clérigo

You tests would indicate a change in the kidney function downwards. This might reflect underlying hypertension, especially if your blood pressure was poorly controlled over the years. Has it been? Have you had an abdominal ultrasound?
