Hi,
I’m a 40 year old lady who only has one remaining kidney (which is scarred and slightly damaged) I had a nephrectomy in 2001 to remove my left one as it wasn’t functioning at all and causing me to become ill.
However, since that’s been removed my egfr reading was 70 with 102 creatinine.
This has recently fallen to 59 with the same 102 creatinine. There wasn’t much protein in my urine.
My medical background was I was 10 weeks premature and my kidneys never developed properly.
Is this going to deteriorate and do I need to be referred back to my specialist?
Any help you can give me would be great.
Kind regards,
Samantha
