First we like to confirm complement deficiency (C3, C4, CH50). If complement dysregulation is apparent, we have then been getting Factor H and I assays done on those patients to try and confirm and cause for it. Of course, as we start to understand more about complement dysregulation, more of this pathway will become subject of laboratory assessment.
