Hi I have hearing loss due to RTA mutation.
Is there anything to be done to stop or slow down?

thanks.
Hello,

The nature of hearing loss in RTA is likely sensorineural in nature and as such, I'm not sure there is anything that can delay its progression. You should have audiometry to confirm the nature of the hearing loss and ensure that no reversible hearing loss is present that perhaps could be helped.

Sorry I can't be more helpful here, but I'm just not sure there is a way to delay the progression.
