About me: | Since 1978, I have been a nephrology nurse (RN) working caring for patients with acute-chronic and ESKD. Working in the Sydney areas in haemodialysis of Prince Henry, Blacktown and Liverpool haemodialysis renal services and the last twelve years I have been caring for patients receiving haemodialysis therapies on the Central Coast haemodialysis renal services.
I have completed my Nephrology and Transplant certificate in the 1980s and since 2010 a Diploma in Nursing (Renal), Master in Clinical Nursing (Renal) and a HDR as a Master in Nursing I will be completing my dissertation-thesis in December 2015. My topic explores the bio ecological (holistic) care of o patient and their vascular access for haemodialysis. On the 30 September, the JORC published the early viewing online (available through Wiley) of our first article from this research: Titled "Care of a patient's vascular access for haemodialysis: A narrative literature review."
