Is this something to be worried.. Alb/Creat Ratio 1409.9 H

In order to answer this accurately, please indicate the exact units of the albumin to creatinine ratio. Creatinine, Urine 62.9 Not Estab. (mg/dL)
F Albumin, Urine 886.8 Not Estab. (ug/mL).
F Alb/Creat Ratio 1409.9 H 0.0-30.0 (mg/g creat)
- Normal: 0.0 - 30.0
- Albuminuria: 31.0 - 300.0
- Clinical albuminuria: >300.0

Hello,

This represents a very elevated level of protein in the urine. The underlying diagnosis however remains unclear as we have no other information to work with. Common causes of protein in the urine include diabetes, hypertension and glomerulonephritis to name only a few conditions. If you provide more information about your past history we might be able to narrow it down. Furthermore it would be imperative to know what your blood pressure is and whether your kidney function has been checked.
