Hello - My creatinine levels have been steady at around .9 for the last three years. On November 13 of this year I had an insurance physical and labs reported .9 and a bun of 14. Urine sample for protein was 11 and for creatinine it was 164.9 so a ratio of .07.

Six days later I went to the ER for what I thought was a cardiac event. I had been under EXTREME stress during that week as I had received some very upsetting news. I’m sure my blood pressure was spiking for those days. Anyway, labs at ER show a creatinine level of 1.25 and bun of 17. No urine sample given. Dipstick urine sample done yesterday shows no protein. My Dr is not concerned at all and said likely cause for the high level was dehydration. What are your thoughts? Thanks very much for your time.
