Hi / I just had kidney related lab tests after by eGFR dropped precipitously, after stopping all supplements, kidney function is as per attached. I had taken a creatine supplement the day of the last year and previously, doctor told me to stop all supplements. How much would this supplement impact results? How long after I stop would my results stabilize? I am hypertensive and take an ACE inhibitor with a diuretic. Thanks.

Can you please clarify - did your kidney function drop or rise after stopping the supplements?

eGFR (day of supplements) went up to 59 a week later after stopping supplement (creatine), which is my prior baseline. Thanks -

I have had a number of patients experience change in their creatinine after using creatine or other supplements. My own advice to them is not to use such supplements; their impact on training performance is debatable and their safety cannot be assured. It is however very reassuring that the creatinine/eGFR rose towards your prior baseline.
