Patient is a child with Acute glomerulonephritis. Modern Jaffe method shows -19 creatinine serum level. Have you encountered any case similar to this? I would like to know the possibility of having a negative result and the factors causing this result.

Medication taken by patient prior blood extraction: oral furosemide, cefuroxime. Thanks
Hello,

Is the serum creatinine 19 mg/dl?

Hi dr! Thanks for the fast response. The result is -19 (negative value) via Modified jaffe method. I've attached the results. I'm looking for the factors affecting these results. However, via enzymatic the creatinine result of the patient is 18 umol/L
