Hi, I was sent to the Emergency Department yesterday with chronic constipation. Blood tests were all normal except for Urea (8.7) and creatinine (143)
The Doctor just said that I should have the levels re-checked next week. I am female, 54, normally healthy other than this severe constipation. Should I be concerned about these high levels?
Many thanks.

This definitely requires additional workup to determine the cause of your reduced kidney function, including an abdominal ultrasound to visualize your urinary tract.

I would suggest you discuss this with your doctor. Feel free to post any additional follow-up for further comment.
