My sister was prenatally diagnosed with polycystic kidney. Now at age 19 after a CT urography, the radiologist said that the right kidney is completely gone. Was the PCKD a misdiagnosis or did the right kidney shrink? I'm confused

Hello,

That would be a very unusual presentation of ADPKD. Are there any other family members with ADPKD?

In my immediate family, no, but a second cousin died of CKD

In your sister's case, did the remaining kidney have cysts?
