Hi,

I want to ask the same question about fighting and martial arts from the recipient's perspective. Can I fight (i.e., karate, taekwondo, wrestling) as a transplant recipient?

Thank you, that makes sense to me.

Hello,

A kidney transplant - implanted in the front of the pelvis - does not have the same protection as a native kidney which is behind the ribcage and surrounded by muscle. Therefore, I would be cautious engaging in high impact activity where a direct blow to the transplant kidney could occur.
