Hi,
I’ve recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I’m on blood pressure medication. My creatine levels have been low for two months.

EGFR is 42

My Albumin/creatine ration is unable to calculate, as the concentration is less than the lower limit of range.

Should I be concerned. Do I have Kidney Disease?

I think you mean low eGFR, not low creatinine. It is reassuring you have no measurable protein in urine but if your eGFR is persistently low, this would fulfill a diagnosis of kidney disease. If so however, have low urinary protein is a very good prognostic sign. Maintaining excellent blood pressure <130/80 especially with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers as well as maintaining an A1C < 6.5-7% will also be very helpful moving forward.
