Hello,

Generally speaking, we do not remove simple cysts unless they are very large and thought to interfere with urinary drainage. The cysts seem to be maximum 1.6 CENTIMETRES, correct? If so, that likely would have no impact on your GFR including if it is is removed.

Dr. Jordan Weinstein
So it also means that simple cyst doesn't affect GFR, correct doc? Now, this is what the nephro of my father has told him, his kidney, has been severely affected by his renal cyst reason why his kidney has weakened. That's why it came to cross my mind what if these cysts will be remove, to improve the blood flow in the kidney, since when the flow of blood is blocked by these cysts, how will the kidney filter the blood, resulting to accummulation of toxins in the blood, or hi crea. :( :(

how about the CT, is it too thin already doc? This 0.66 Cm, and 0.82 cm? :( :(

my father, actually is still physically able, like biking, farming, unlike other with stage 5 CKD, as diagnosed.

Appreciate your kind reply doc, with thanks..
