8yr old boy with cochlear implant since age of three. Referred about 3 months ago with protenuria and renal failure. However mum had noted frothy urine for quite a long time. No family history of renal failure or hearing loss. No hematuria. Renal biopsy : light microscopy(1 glom repeat biopsy) global glomerular ischaemic-like changes, focal segmentalsclerosing glomerular lesion on EM, chronic interstitial nephritis, diffuse in distribution and of at least moderate intensity.
